전기차 통합 플랫폼 ‘이브이링크’, 전기차 사용 후 배터리 신속정밀 진단기 개발
전기차 보급 확대에 따라 사용후 배터리 발생량이 급증할 것으로 예상되어 사용후 배터리를 재사용 및 재활용하는 방안에 대한 산업계의 관심이 증가하고 있다.
전기차 사용후 배터리를 재사용 및 재활용 하기 위해서는 잔존수명을 신속하고 정밀하게 진단하는 기술이 필요하다.
이브이링크 전기차 사용후 배터리(폐배터리)를 신속하고 안전하게 진단하는 BMS 기반 진단기를 개발하여 시장에 출시하였다.
이브이링크에서 출시한 신속정밀 진단기는 휴대폰/태블릿 등에 연결하여 사용하는 라이트형(LT2201)과 모니터를 탑재한 패드형(PD2301)으로 출시되었으며 사용후 배터리의 SOH, SOB, SOC 등을 5분 이내로 진단할 수 있다.
특히, 기존의 진단방식인 완충완방형이나 임피던스 측정방식의 진단기술에서 문제가 되는 측정시간 및 안전성(뚜껑을 개방하여 진단하는 방식)을 획기적으로 개선하였으며, 셀별 상태까지 진단할 수 있어, 재사용에 필요한 정보를 정확히 확인할 수 있게 되었다.
환경부 산하 한국환경공단에서도 기존 충방전 및 임피던스 측정 방식의 한계로 BMS 정보 활용 성능평가 체계구축을 위한 「BMS를 활용한 전기차 사용 후 배터리 성능평가 방안 마련」을 진행하고 있다.
이번에 출시된 신속정밀 진단기는 산업부에서 시행한 “탄소중립 신산업 전환 지원 사업”으로 진단성능의 신뢰성을 검증한 결과, 기존 완충완방형 진단기술 대비 98.5% 이상의 신뢰성이 있는 것으로 평가되어 기술적 우수성이 증명되었다.이브이링크에서 개발된 신속정밀 진단기 제품은 이번 2023 인터배터리 전시회(코엑스, 3.15.~3.17.)에 출품되어 전시될 예정이다.
